Why Kriis Yoga RYT 200?

Teachers With A Unique Style :
We do not intend to produce teachers from cast from the same mould. Instead, we help you develop your own style by teaching you;

  • How to find modifications and variations in asanas
  • How to develop creative ways of using props
  • How to improvise based on different physical constraints

Natural & Unforced Transformation :
At Kriis Yoga, we believe that the tastes and preferences of a practitioner should change naturally as a result of practising yoga, and not by forcefully controlling the diet. Hence, we do not force any strict diet regimen on you, but would give you advices and recommendations based on your state of body and mind.

Serene Environment :
We offer this program in an ashram (monastery) which is an ideal location for learning ancient disciplines like yoga. There is a Hindu temple located in the compound where students can visit and pray/meditate.

General Guidelines :
Students are requested to be mindful of their speech and conduct and observe the dress code (non-revealing clothes) inside the premises. Intoxicants and non-vegetarian food are not allowed inside the ashram premises.

Hands-On Care :
The ashram also runs a retirement home in the premises where elderly people needing care and support resides. Students get a chance, as part of their curriculum, to teach gentle yoga to selected residents of the retirement home, which will provide great insights and hands-on experience with adjustments and corrections.

Besides these, the ashram also provides service to backward community colonies and villages where students can visit and participate in yoga-based community-care programs.
